Kristaps serves as the Country Manager for Tripod in Latvia. He has over 10 years of experience leading and scaling distributed teams across the Tech and Trust & Safety sectors.

Kristaps earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Aberdeen and his Master of Science in Psychology from Maastricht University. With a strong background in human resources and wellbeing, he has previously held senior roles such as Head of People and Culture and Global Director, managing full-cycle talent acquisition, organizational culture, and performance management.

At Tripod, Kristaps focuses on driving business development in the Latvian market and directing executive search assignments to secure management-level and leadership talent across diverse industries.

Maria graduated from Psychology at the University of Tartu and continued her studies in the master’s programme of Business Administration in TalTech.

Maria is a Partner and has had the longest career in Tripod with Helle, a Development Manager. Maria focuses above all on recruitment and surveys. She also delivers lectures on these areas as a guest speaker at universities. Her last experience as a student is a Practitioner diploma programme in Executive Coaching at Estonian Business School.

Before, Maria worked in Amrop.

At Tripod, Katrin manages the testing system and contracts and coordinates assessment projects.

Katrin has been working in Tripod for most of her career. Before, she was in the translation business, a passion she still finds hard to let go of.

Laura Šīmane-Vīgante serves as a Senior Consultant at Tripod Latvia, specializing in assessment, psychological testing, and organizational development. She has more than 10 years of experience in psychology, higher education, and organizational consulting across both the public and private sectors.

Laura earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Bedfordshire and her Master’s Degree in Organizational Psychology from the Baltic International Academy. She is currently a doctoral candidate at Daugavpils University and a certified psychologist, registered  in the fields of organizational, counseling, and forensic psychology.

Laura also spent six years as a researcher at the Implicit Measurements Laboratory, contributing to research projects in attitude assessment, designing methodologies and adapting tests. Alongside her consulting work, Laura has extensive academic experience as a lecturer and associate professor in psychology-related fields. She is also a APC-certified professional coach with additional expertise in stress management, wellbeing, leadership development, and psychological assessment.

Sintija combines her background in Business Administration from Riga Technical University with her Psychology degree from University of Latvia to bring a human-centered approach to recruitment. With experience across both international corporations and local projects, she has managed recruitment pipelines for various sectors, including IT, Health Tech, Fintech, and AdTech. Sintija is particularly skilled in market analysis, utilizing her previous expertise in content management and SEO to identify niche talent in competitive markets.

At Tripod, she partners with clients to manage the full recruitment cycle, specializing in technical roles and specialists while ensuring a data-driven and human-driven approach to every shortlist.

Alexandra works as a Recruitment Specialist at Tripod, primarily supporting recruitment projects in sales and business development, finance, and support services, ranging from specialists to executive-level positions. In addition assisting recruitment projects for Latvian team. She holds a degree in International Business Administration from Estonian Business School and will begin her Master’s studies in “Artificial Intelligence in Business” at Tallinn University of Technology in the autumn of 2026.

In her role as a Recruitment Specialist, Alexandra provides high-quality support to recruitment project managers, enabling them to focus on successfully leading projects and delivering the best solutions to clients. What she enjoys most about her work is interacting with people and tackling the exciting challenges that each new recruitment project brings.

In her free time, Alexandra enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, which helps her recharge and find inspiration for both her professional and personal growth.
